mixin : A twitter alternative. What’s your agenda ?
mixin more a agenda/plan manager rather than mere posts of what you’re doing. Each scribble is about a plan with the time after an “@” sign. Which shows, when, what and where. It can also be further classified as “Plans”, “Would like to”, “is available”, “proposes”. It can can be updated by SMS, IM or Email. A time line of the plans is also shown on the top.
mixin is the place where people can easily share their micro-agenda. By micro-agenda we mean all the small info that is interesting when it is about getting organized with friends. In mixin you can easily say where you are, what you do, suggest and discuss ideas or just say that you’re available. mixin helps you do more activities with your friends by letting you mix your agendas and identify opportunities.

I just read that it takes seven email to set up a meeting (average). Why ? Because one user is using Outlook, another Lotus and the third one Gcal. And none of them can see the availability of the others !
We, at mixin.com, wanted to 1. simplify that 2. make it more fun 3. keep a track of the even by letting users post comments and medias during and after the discussion.
Last but not least, sometimes you want to do something, but you don’t where or with whom. Just publish a proposition and let your friends make suggestions.
