Gbuy The much awaited payment system from the trusted Google Inc. is about to be launched at the end of the month, expected to be on 28`th of this June. It’s main competitor would be the market dominating, eBay’s online payment system, Paypal. Gbuy is expected to be free during the initial phase, but merchants may eventually be charged a 1.5 percent to 2 percent per-transaction fee, Jordan Rohan, an RBC Capital Markets analyst, said in his research note. A fee of that size would be slightly less than that charged by PayPal.

Qunu : Ask experts, get answers via Instant Messaging
Qunu is a next-generation expertise matching service which uses an instant messaging to connect in real time people who have software or tech-related questions with experts who are passionate and willing to help. It uses a web-based Jabber IM client to connect and search for experts. It’s different to the ones you’ve seen because with Qunu.com a person is contacting and asking for live help unlike other anwering services which either search pages or have to wait untill someone reads and replies to it. you don’t have to wait around for your answer. You can ask the expert directly and get your answer immediately. What’s more, you can ask follow-up questions, again, in real time.
Also, if you’re an expert in something and want to provide help to others, Qunu requests come in through your existing IM client software, so there’s no need to monitor forums or websites anymore.

Searching for experts is easy too, Simply enter your query into the search field above. Qunu will return a list of experts who are online and possibly able to help. Please be polite and considerate of their time — you’re getting it for free. It’s easy. First, add quser@qunu.com to your contact list in almost any Jabber-enabled IM client. Then, request authorization and follow the instructions given to ‘tag’ yourself with various topics.
jgraph’s MxGraph : Editor within browser
MxGraph is somewhat an all round editor. That is, it does many work that an text/graph editor does, creating a text page to a detailed graphical layout. in other words MxGraph is JGraph in a browser. It uses Javascript, SVG and VML, along with an XML communications protocol to provide an interactive graph visualization toolkit in a standard Internet browser. The demo of MxGraph is a pure client-side implementation, but there is also a version that links to a server and enables many people to view and interact with the same diagrams simultaneously. But if compared to text editor like writely and Gliffy it has to go a lot.

Tags Search Engines : TagFetch, KeoTag, Gada.Be and more
Tag Search engines are getting popular with blogging. Almost every Web 2.0 website, Blog or search engine has to have tags with it. Its another important for maintaining relavant blog search results and getting traffic for bloggers ;).
- Yahoo! My Web 2.0 Search : Ultimate Tag Search, but provides only results from content submitted to it. Unlike
- KeoTag : Clean Layout and easy searching. It searchs tags from a wide range of blogging websites from well known technorati to newly lauched web 2.0 websites. Offers RSS feed for each search made. Better that Gada.be
- Gada.be : Impressive but only thing I don’t like about it is, it adds nofollow tags into the results.Gada takes a query and runs it against sites like Google News, Technorati, Flickr, IceRocket, Amazon, Wikipedia, 43Things, etc.
- TagFetch : Basically TagFetch conducts a search on other blogging related websites. While searching there are options for News, Blog, Bookmarks and Media. It searches recent posts with media on Flickr and Youtube. de.licio.us for Bookmarks. Technorati and Feedster fetch from Blog while reddit, newsvine and tailrank for News. Pretty neat for beta stage. What I like most about it is simple and clean results unlike websites like Snap which started great but now the RSS feeds yeilds spam most of the time.
- Wink
: Wink is another new tag based search engine that lets you find the results from different social bookmarking sites. Wink crawls sites like del.icio.us, Digg, Furl, Slashdot and Yahoo MyWeb, indexes the results, and figures out which pages are most relevant through their TagRank algorithms.
- Guten Tags : A tag search engine, perhaps a Tag cloud. A search reveals few options like what does the keyword mean, posts related to that keyword, what people bookmark, record, film about that keyword and much more.
- Rmail Tag Search : Yet another Tag search engine.
Do comment of any nice tag Search Engines I have missed.
Blogr : Your space for photos, videos, podcasts and your blog
Blogr, is another blog hoster with other great services like space to store, share your photos, videos, audios and more. Each user is given a subdomain on blogr.com as their space. Have a look at my demo page for example, iwonder.blogr.com.
It provides tit bits from Blog, Photos and Video’s together at the user homepage. Right now it does not have the flexibitlity or editing allowed as other blog hosters like wordpress.com or blogger, so it would not be a great taste for todays bloggers, especially there is not feature to put ads :). Its pretty much like Yahoo! 360°. Even though the layout is pretty neat they don’t seem provide any templates/themes. But as this is in Alpha stage we can’t judge its power now.
It sure is a great option for newbie bloggers for quickie post and uploading pictures and video’s for family and freinds. Upload your photos, videos and podcasts or post to your blog. You can easily send entries to your blog via Email.
everystockphoto : Another great source for Free Stock Photos
everystockphoto.com is another great resource for free stock photos. everystockphoto is indexing over 250,000 creative commons, public domain and other attribution licensed photos. It displays a medium verison of the photos when possible and as much information about the photo. The search is tag-based for applicable sites and indexes the results based on description, category, username, keywords, and title.
Ajax is used nicely in retrieving links from del.icio.us, ajax-based tagging tools and an AJAX based advanced search interface will be up shortly. In addition, it offers free member features such as tag-based lightboxes, photo pop-ups, and a forum.
Jonathan Yapp also tells about plans on morphing into an image exchange but keeping the focus on free media and related resources in mind. Everystockphoto is currently adding about 20,000 new photos per week. It sure has a good scope in the market as there are always photo hungry people/designers, especially for free ones ;) . Freebie site always pick up fast, I have noted few good ones after the success of stock.xchng like everystockphotos and IconBuffet
