YackPack : Create and Share online voice messages

YackPack allows you to create online voice messages (”yacks”) and share those messages with private or public groups (”packs”). Basically it just act as a voice mail service. The panel is completely in flash, after you upload a pic or information of your friends or make group the panel shows them all together and you can choose any of them , record your message and click “Send”. Thats it !

YackPack

YackPack is an Internet service that helps group members communicate with each other. The interface is simple. A 3-year-old child can send audio messages to one or many group members inside a private circle. YackPack records and conveys the expressiveness of human speech, which leads to stronger relationships and more unified families, support groups, and project teams. We co-brand the YackPack platform for enterprise and consumer groups, integrating our patent-pending solution into their web sites.

Send a Yack:
Click on the picture of the person(s) you want to receive your message. You can click on more than one picture to send a message to a group of people. A highlight will appear around each person you select.

  • Record your message by clicking the “record” button. Begin talking, singing, or whatever you want to record. The green progress bar will move as you record your message.
  • When you’re done recording, click the “send” button.

SoonR : Access PC via Mobile

SoonR allows you to access your PC on the move (whatever is shared). That is , to access and retrieve the content from your desktop computer or any other computer you’ve linked to your SoonR account without any new softwares on your phone.

In order to use SoonR, a computer(s) connected to the Internet runs a small secure client as a service. This client uses 128 Bit SSL to communicate with the SoonR service. An account with the SoonR server is established, and a mobile phone with basic data capability is used for submitting requests.

Access to applications and files is “PC Power on your phone”. SoonR is the only service that enables standard mobile phones to use the applications on PCs in an optimized way. Desktop Search, Outlook, Skype, and the files on desktop computer(s) are made available anywhere you are and even when your computer is turned off*. Any phone with data access becomes a smart phone.

Ajax & Codes/Scripts & Web 2.003 May 2006

MODx : Content Management System & PHP Application Framework

MODx is a content management system with AJAX goodness (or Web 2.0 as they say). The code is neat and gives a true CMS feel. Though I liked the admin Interface more, the panel offers a wide range of options , Tools, extra plugins , stats checking etc. like a true CMS .

MODx is the first free PHP CMS to offer an API that fully supports Web 2.0 Ajax technology thanks to script.aculo.us. Expect to see this grow more and more into our manager over time, but you can make use of it today in your own custom applications including live search, web effects, Ajax communications and more.

PHP Application Framework – a flexible API and a event model that allows to override how the core behaves means that you get both tremendous flexibility, but also the ability to customize the solution to your needs and a simple upgrade path.

consider MODx your #1 free Search Engine Optimization CMS. MODx helps your SEO efforts by making it easier to adjust meta-content of your site on a per-page basis.

I should say it does a lot more than other AJAX based scripts like AJAXpress and AJAX Portal . But still it needs a lot more to get into high level category of scripts like Joomla and Wordpress.

Sphere : Blog Search Engine

I came to know about Sphere yesterday when I got a few hits from it. Sphere launched yesterday . Sphere is a blog search engines with a high-quality, relevant, and timely search results. Though the search results looks almost like technorati, just few different facts. Technorati shows results from the blogs which pings it whereas Sphere searches the blog submitted to it. As they say it . Sphere offers a feed for every search made just like technorati and Digg. Bookmarklet is also provided for easy bookmarking of blog entries you like.

We bring you the good stuff — a very simple idea that takes some smarts to do right. Sphere’s advanced search algorithm helps you discover high-quality, relevant, and timely blog posts that match what you’re looking for.

There are over 30 million blogs, and counting. With so many people reading, writing, and commenting on blogs (where do we find the time?), getting to the high-quality, relevant content on a timely basis is difficult. For a variety of boring, complex technical reasons (such as an exclusive emphasis on freshness, or a simplistic computation of “authority” or the inability to identify spam), other blog search services deliver less-than-satisfying results.
