eyespot : Upload, Mix and Share Videos Online (AJAX)
eyespot offers an impressive feature, mixing of videos with video and adding audios, almost like Microsoft’s Windows Movie Maker. All this Online. There is an interesting option called harveting in which you can choose videos from other accounts (only the ones made public), add it your account and mix it with your own videos. Apart from the mixing, it also has a tagging feature for easy navigation and searches.
Our online video mixer allows you to drag and drop your digital media into a timeline so they are arranged sequentially. No need for expensive, hard to learn video editing software. Our Mixer provides you control without all the knobs.
eyespot allows a one time upload of upto 25 MB of video, in which popular file extentions are supported for video, audio and images. It also has a MMS from mobile feature.
Now you have a place to put that video, mix it up with other vids and send it to your friends. Send an mms message to (your user name)@eyespot.com to upload it to your account.
Using eyespot’s Media manager. On this page you can watch, tag, title, share and publish easily and quickly. We believe working with your media should be easy and intuitive.

[...] Seems like a lot of web 2.0 application are being copied ( or perhaps I should say “Inspired” ;) ) with few extra features or modifications. Multimedia sharing became very popular from the start of file sharing websites like youtube and rapidshare. With increase in demand and lower server costs the “file sharing” websites have gone way up, multimedia sharing seems to be taking the same pace. Though the style is a bit different, the use of the app remains the same - Sharing. Microsoft’s Windows Movie Maker like web 2.0 application, eyespot did a wonderful start, it provided online video editing with good use of Ajax in the interface apart from sharing. Then comes Grouper which apart from sharing also allows users to use directly connect to each other using P2P technology. [...]
