Looks like with increasing number of low cost WYSIWYG editors, FrontPage is not much of use. Microsoft acquired FrontPage in the mid-1990s.

FrontPage does serve as the foundation for two different Web-design programs: SharePoint Designer 2007, which is intended for organizations using the SharePoint server-based Web-development platform; and Expression Web Designer, which appears to be outside of the Office application family (it isn’t included in any of the Office 2007 bundles, nor is it listed as a standalone Office app the way Project and Visio have been and will continue to be in the new release).

I’ve been meaning for some time to give a little tutorial on the live search I created for this latest design. There are a few steps involved, and I’ll do my best to explain each as we go. I should also note that I’m not including all the effects that you’ll find in my search. They require some special WordPress template changes that you shouln’t have to make. And I need to keep mine unique, right? Also, I’ll be touching on a few steps that are WordPress specific, but the theory can be applied to any site platform.

JotForm was released yesterday.Bult on JavaScript libraries Prototype and Script.aculo.us, Jotform is an online WYSIWYG form builder, works on Ajax, Instant Edit and JavaScript. As per Aytekin Tank, It would be the first real completely web based WYSIWYG form builder. I really like the interesting idea behind this. Drag-Drop Form fields and a very neat interface .

JotForm is currently completely free. It will stay this way during BETA period. I must admit I have not decided on a business model yet. The most possible outcome will be a Pro version where users will get more benefits. At this point I am more interested in seeing the interest in this tool, collecting feedback from users and weeding out all the bugs.

Easy Try Out!
You can try it out without creating an account. Hey, if you only want a tool to create form source code for you, just create your form, get its source without even creating an account on the JotForm site. You will not even leave the homepage! It is probably one of the easiest ways to create forms.

But Can It Collect Data?
Although implementing the first real web WYSIWYG form editor was a very interesting task by itself, it is not that useful. All form building tools on the web provide data collection and access. So does JotForm. It is really easy to see results on the my forms section and you can even export them as Excel, CVS or some other delimited format. You can also receive notification emails.

Feedshare is similar ad sharing network as Adsense, I remember Gravee had started something similar to this.

This just in, One more “Live” is out for Beta from Microsoft, Microsoft Office Live

A collection of free services (advertising-supported) will provide a small business with the core requirements for establishing an online identity. Maybe MSN is trying to target corporates more, as the “search” I think is not doing that well. ^_^

AjaxPortal is based on Sajax technology - an open source tool to make programming websites using the Ajax framework.

To say, it is a content management system in ajax. Though it has a long way to reach heights of Joomla, phpnuke, drupal etc. Moreover, as these CMS are also integrating ajax into it , I guess it’ll a bit tough competetion for Ajax Portal .
I would like to point out Search Engine Optimization. As the pages are generated real time, without refreshing, it might not be that effective as in a SEO point of view. The interface is almost same as common Ajax Desktops.

How it works

After starting the main page you will never leave the starting url, reloading the pages or refreshing the browser. You can search, login/logout, do admin work - add,edit,delete pages and boxes with information, navigate pages and more without reloading. All database information send/received to/from the MySql server stays hidden as a background task.
