What is Jagger?

It is a update to Google’s SEO strategy. The guys are taking new steps ;) .

You might have noted the significant update going on with google right now. Google DC`s down, High PR with no Backlink`s , Site`s getting banned etc. are the few things we can observe at this point.

This 3 stage update, “Google Dance” nicknamed “Jagger” has left many webmasters questioned. I came to know about this from SEOchat forums , where there are users coming and piling up their websites disaster posts ;) .

SEO experts advice not to panic about this, Google will never hurt you ;) . It is a temporary thing, soon that will just be a ordinary news that we forget. I also came to know the fact that few SEO strategies are not going to work any more or will change drastically, like

Keyword spam : Keyword spam is said not work anymore. That is probably to remove the spam web pages with the same keywords repeated over and over. So, now don`t bother typing the same words, Google won`t care a damn :) .

Link Building : If the indications from various blogs / forums / news are true we may be looking at the end of reciprocal linking as a method of building rank and link popularity, say atleast for Google.
major concern is about the sites, who now have duplicate links on a single site disappeared.

Content Based : My personal prediction on jagger by looking at these few changes is that Google is now going to stress more on content value.

CSS comments : Possible introduction of CSS Spam Filtering techniques

Adsense Placement Relevancy : It’s sort of a anti adsense-spam websites program. From the earlier spcified link , Matt Cutts openly explains ways to alert about these spammy sites.

The few strategies now to be concentrated on is publicity, articles, directories and other direct methods of building awareness. (Though a few months ago many directories using DMOZ listing got banned by Google.)

What to expect Next ?
Hmmm…. perhaps a even better google . And for webmasters .. be prepared for anything ! lol
