Google Goes Messenger ~ Google Talk Beta !!!

About a week ago people believed it was rumour , but now it`s confirmed :) .
Yup! Here it is Google has started it`s own messenger system like Yahoo! & MSN Messenger. With plans to compete against the voice client gaint “Skype” Google Talk allows free voice conversation with IM . Getting about all the usefull features from Yahoo! Messenger , Google Talk has a neat layout .
You can see some features :
- You Invite people to talk to you .
- Set your status
- Call while Messaging Text
- It allows you to connect through popular IM Clients like Adium, GAIM, iChat, Psi, Trillian Pro
- Requires Windows XP/2000

the google guys say in trillian to go to new connections and select jabber , but i don`t have any jabber !!! wht to do ? othe clients are bad or have some limitations

Err. U have trillian pro ? If you do
then you might have not activated it .Go to the preferences > Plugins and Check Jabber .
Then the menu will come .

it will not run on widows 98.thats why it is not good
