Tip :
If you don`t get the indian audible ,
~ uninstall messenger and then reinstall the indian version.
~ tell any friend of yours to send u a indian audible then right click it and click “Find similar audibles” .
~If you are not able to see Hindi Audibles even after installing Indian version, then check your yahoo profile and make sure that Location is set to India, if not then change it to India, save it and relogin to messenger. It should show the Hindi Audibles now.

OYE! chuk de patte : It`s a punjabi style of expressing support here . Punjabi is the language of Punjab, India.
Here it`s says something like “Go on man , show the damn world !!â€Âabbey e..offline ho gaya kya, ya Mr.India bana baitha hai? Lal chasma lagaoon kya? : Mr.India here is the actors role in a bollywood movie in which he acted as he was invisible and could only be seen through red colour .
here the guy says “Have you gone offline or did you become Mr.India? should I put my Red glasses†………. This is said when a buy goes to invisible mode in Yahoo ! :)Arre…yahin to dhokha kha gaya India.. : =”Man this is where India got tricked or lost”
“ Hai Daiyya..bas bhi karo..log kya kahenge!” : =”oh stop it !! someone would see us !” ………………. Here the Girl is shy about the talk , in bollywood style she`s shyly resisting the talk.

its so nice ..although the indian version is quit unstable coz the call option getz disable every tyme u signout the ID…but the US version is quite good…try out these new stuff ;)

Of course the Indian version doesn’t support the “Call” feature since Voice over IP is illegal in India.

Well it still needs a proper checkup in its Algorithms as it gets stuck in many situations nd Test team needs to work hard to provide a stble version…

@Swetha , Yahoo! Messenger Indian version as per Yahoo! and Indian Rules cannot use Voice feature as it is not allowed in India, but you can try installing US one first then indian one over it ;) .

I have a problem , i just reinstalled my windows and installed yahoo messenger 7 , but just before the installation finishes there is a error message “Illegal operation” .
now i uninstalled it and then reinstalled yahoo messenger 6 , but now it too have the same problem that is the error message.
what do i do, plz help guys :(

I had the same problem , but not sure this is in case of yours … Have you installed internet explorer & Flash player for IE after your windows installation ?

I don`t think you can run Hindi Audibles by Default. Either you have to use Indian Version
Pehaps you can try this ..
Ask Anyone who uses Indian version Y! mess to send Hindi Audibles to you , then click on it > select similar audibles . you`ll see the hindi audibles then .(but that`s for a short period not permanent.)

Yahoo! India Messenger 7 has Voice feature , many ppl including me are using it. It might be problem with your PC .
Try Checking your PC`s Voice Settings and try reinstalling Messenger , after u install the present one .

Yes I heard two of my friends say that too, even I tried it, I think it`s some compatibility problem.
But only Yahoo Final is having the problem , Beta is Working fine

and the most are someway related to Indian movies(Bollywood) . Like 2 lady`s say “Nahieeee” in different style .
It`s a common way of expressing sudden bad news or something , in Indian movies :) .

The Audible and Hidden Audibles are cool , I have 2 PC’s , on one I see the Asian text Audible on the other pc I see 000000000000000 , what can correct this to see proper Asian text in audible/. Both PC XP PRO SP2 .

If it`s showing while audibles should come , then you need to install Macromedia flash .

Here is a easier way to add hindi style audibles to american version of yahoo by just changing the file which is in
C:/Program files/yahoo/messenger/Cache/Audibles
and then u find the file called audibles.xml may be 2kb or more /All u need is to replace this file with the file found in the indian version of yahoo /so if u have only one computer how you can acieve this is install indian version first play aroud with all hindi audibles and then copy that file in above mentioned path /save it elsewhere and uninstall indian version yahoo and then install US version yahoo and go back to the path file and replace BINGO YOU GET BEST OF BOTH WORLDS NAD YOU DONT LOOSE ANY FEATURES

a) Chat Forward Feature ,wherein any one can forward the chat to anyone with authentication and permission and then let other not come to disclose the forward operation.
b) Better Archive System.
